This Privacy Policy explains what information Perj collects, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Account Information

We use Clerk for authentication. Account identifiers, email addresses, and profile metadata are processed to support sign-in, session management, and account access controls.

2. Product and Monitoring Data

Perj is built for file integrity monitoring. Depending on enabled features, this can include file integrity events such as file paths, hashes, timestamps, and policy outcomes. This template currently focuses on auth and UI and does not include active ingestion pipelines.

3. Analytics

We use basic product analytics to understand service usage and reliability. This helps us improve product quality and performance.

4. How We Use Data

We use data to operate and secure the service, troubleshoot issues, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

5. Data Sharing

We may share data with infrastructure and service providers strictly as needed to run the service, and when required by law. Providers are expected to handle data under confidentiality and security obligations.

6. Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for operational, security, legal, and compliance purposes, then delete or anonymize it when no longer required.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we continuously work to improve protections and response readiness.
